Message from District Governor

Dear Fellow Rotarians,

At the outset I take this opportunity to congratulate the new office bearers of the club for assuming their respective offices to lead the club in the Rotary year 2013‐14 and wish you all the best on this occasion of commencement of the new Rotary year.

Our world leader President Ron Burton has said "Rotary's best days are ahead of us. We are writing the last few pages of one chapter of Rotary history, as we move ever closer to the end of polio. And we are writing the very first pages of a new chapter as we roll out our Future Vision plan". I believe, all the trainings you have gone through, have prepared yourself to enter into a new era of TRF grants while we give a last push to eradicate polio from the face of the earth.

Strengthening clubs, undertaking humanitarian projects for serving the communities in need, and enhancing Rotary image are the main priority areas of Rotary for the days ahead. I am aware that since it was admitted to Rotary International on May 19, 1999, Rotary Club of Dillibazar, with the flagging efforts of all its members, has been carrying out evident humanitarian projects leaving a very good impact in the community.

I am confident that in the year 2013‐14, moving forward towards Rotary's focus areas, Rotary Club of Dillibazar will be successful in engaging Rotary to change lives.

Dear Friends, let us work together in establishing District 3292 as an exemplary Rotary district in the world.

Wish you all the very best and warm regards.

Dilendra Raj Shrestha
District Governor
